Roadway Moving spotlights its growth on the West Coast as the exclusive Moving Partner at The Real Deal’s LA Forum.
On September 12th, Roadway Moving proudly partnered with The Real Deal’s LA Real Estate Forum as the exclusive Moving Partner at the Beverly Wilshire.
The event gathered 800 real estate professionals to discuss critical topics such as the evolving housing market, policy changes, and the ongoing migration trends reshaping Los Angeles.
This year’s LA Forum built on the tremendous success of Roadway’s previous partnership with The Real Deal’s New York forum. The event gave industry veterans, policy experts, and government officials the opportunity to dive deep into the state of office development and the rise of secondary markets.
At the heart of the event, Roadway Moving’s booth became a dynamic hub of engagement, drawing in key professionals to discuss the benefits of partnering with us.
The LA Forum exemplified our ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful connections within the real estate community, a cornerstone of our West Coast expansion strategy.
Roadway’s involvement highlights our dedication to establishing a solid presence on the West Coast, particularly in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
After making a name for ourselves as NYC’s leading full-service moving company, our move to Los Angeles three years ago marked a pivotal moment in our journey toward nationwide growth. Since then, we’ve seen YoY growth rate of 96%, proving the demand for our high-quality services in this market.
Ben Buzaglo, Roadway Moving’s Director of Sales, shared insights into how this West Coast success story has unfolded.
“Our presence in Los Angeles is part of a broader vision to bring New York’s excellence to the Pacific Coast. We’ve built this growth by focusing on our clients, leveraging our cutting-edge technology, and forming long-term relationships with real estate professionals.”
This expansion has been fueled by the high number of long-distance moves, which account for 40% of Roadway’s services over the past 16 years.
Many satisfied clients who first moved with Roadway from the East Coast have remained loyal customers, solidifying our reputation as a trusted moving partner in Los Angeles and beyond.
As a company deeply embedded in the real estate ecosystem, Roadway Moving’s Platinum Referral Program was a focal point of discussions at our booth.
Designed with flexibility and agent success in mind, the program allows real estate professionals to offer their clients the best possible moving experience while benefiting from three reward options:
This initiative underscores our gratitude towards the agents and brokers who trust us with their clients’ moves.
“Our goal is to support real estate agents by ensuring that their clients receive top-tier service, which reflects positively on both the agent and our company,” says Buzaglo. “We see our relationships with agents as essential to our growth, especially as we continue to expand across California.”
Roadway’s entry into Los Angeles required adapting to the unique challenges presented by Southern California’s geography.
From the streets of the Hollywood Hills to the more horizontal layouts of residential areas, Roadway has tailored its services to meet the distinct demands of LA’s market. This attention to detail is one of the reasons why the company has quickly scaled its operations to include three storage facilities and a fleet of 16 trucks.
But while the terrain may differ from New York’s concrete jungle, our commitment to exceptional service remains the same. Each move is meticulously planned, from in-person walkthroughs to custom-built crates for high-value items.
“We’ve worked hard to replicate our New York model on the West Coast, always ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience for our clients,” Buzaglo notes. “Our continued success is a testament to this approach.”
Following the LA forum, Roadway Moving is poised for further expansion in California. Having opened a second office in San Francisco and eyeing other key markets like Orange County and San Diego, Roadway is committed to maintaining the high level of service that has made us a trusted name in the industry.
“We’re excited to take the lessons we’ve learned from LA and apply them to new regions,” says Buzaglo. “California is just the beginning. As we look to future growth, we’ll continue to prioritize strong relationships with real estate professionals and deliver unparalleled moving services to every customer.”
With our presence firmly established on the West Coast, Roadway Moving is ready to continue its mission of redefining the moving experience from coast to coast.
The New York event was the inaugural gathering in a series of significant events, followed by Los Angeles with Roadway as the official sponsor. Following this, the series will continue with events in Miami in November, the largest real estate sector events scheduled in South Florida.
